Son of KitRib

Having had several interested parties asking if we have plans to produce a 5 mtr version (in order to fit in a garage!) we have checked our drawings and could indeed produce just such a hull unit for approx. 1100.00 would this be of interest? I am looking into RCD implications, but if need be we would get this shorter craft stability tested so as to ensure conformity before releasing to market.
Interested in all comments, ideas or orders (LOL) etc.

Regards,

Stevetheboat

Steve,

Sounds like a plan! Me and my mate would definately seriously consider this as an option depending on the cost and the price of a tube to fit (neither of us are really rolling in money!).

Do you know at the moment how much power it could take? or the internal width? I guess from your post that you would adjust the existing plans for the 6.2m to fit 5m, so the hull would be similar to the 6.2m, with similar chine positions and deadrise etc?

I sent you an email last night but it your address seems to have bounced back (twice). Jan's address did not though.

Cheers

Tim

6.5 Metre Rib

Hi Steve
Have you got the cost of the 6.5 Mtr ready tubed.Thinking of getting something bigger and I enjoy fitting them out.I've fitted out my last two Ribs I think it the best way of doing it,you can rely on it being done properly and to your exact specification.
