I'd be happy to buy/wear something to encourage & remind people to wear their kill cord plus have a similar sticker on the boats but wouldn't want to be too gruesome !!
At the end of the day it's to educate the less safety conscious not alienate the general public who I suggest may view the more graphic images when we're out & about !! Personally prefer the triangle with the killcord images !!

Small and simple front, nice size and sensible message on the rear.

You could, if you wanted, have the ribnet logo small on front breast and whatever sensible design is agreed on the rear?

Really like this - simple picture of a lifejacket and kill cord arranged within a triangle or stop sign shape?

Perhaps you could get the Polecat girls to pose with a KC fitted around their leg a bit like a garter if you know what I mean

Maybe rather than trying to shock / intimidate with the design, it could be humorous, maybe more people would want to wear one?

Strap on and give it a tug before leaving!

Or something similar?

Its great so many people are passionate about this, i would buy a polo shirt. I think multiple routes to get the message across is the right idea. I did contact my local marina and they are going to be puttimg some posters up, if we could convince local slipway owners then yes im sure they could also put posters up. For all you ribbers who are in marinas then tell the management to put posters up. The rnli should also highlight the issue in magazines and magazine owners should highlight the issue.

And boat magazine owners should stop showing boat adverts or articles with images of people on boats at speed with no lifejackets and no kill cords, bikinis would be fine.

As to sky or bskyb which is the company name, i used to work for them, they could potentially do a programme about boat safety but maybe the subject is a tad raw at the momemt.

All of this however probably wont stop the likes of the two hard small boats i spotted leaving poole harbor at weekend with around 5 teenagers on each boat, male and female, no life jackets worn and i didnt spot a kill cord being worn but it might have been only had a quick look.

That design also emphasises the prop not the kill cord which I'm not sure is particularly helpful either.
The idea wasn't to show the design off, more that it can be done online to show what it looks like on a printed shirt as colours are limited etc.

It was just using the 1st image I had when it asked me to upload one.

agree..this is blue sky thinking man.
what we have is ideas and people are already being drawn to a few..........all good
I'm trying to look beyond these two second designs, like mine! and see the bigger picture, how about we now start highlighting what we've liked so far?
