Keel band on SR4

My SR4 doesnt have any keel protection on it, thus it gets a bit chewed up on beach landings etc.

Anybody got one on their 4m Searider?

It would be easy to fix one from the bow end, but the bottom back end of the hull is about 4/5" wide.
Any ideas on how to protect this end of the keel?
