Just been given a ringo [emoji3]

Can't believe it, out of the blue my neighbour has given me a ring.
Couple of questions it has a ring attachment and a double web strop on it? It looks that I might put the strip through the ring then attach the rope? Any ideas?

Also the bridle he gave me was home made and is a static Y. I always thought the bit with the float was meant to run round the loop from eye to eye on the transom to equal the load? I may just buy a a new one as it's probably the most important bit?

Thanks goes to my neighbour whose has made my daughters weekend.

Yeh strap goes through ring then to rope
Bridle is a matter of personal preference I've tried both and don't think it make much difference
