Just a wee bit of info...

Just a wee bit of info for those who may like to know....

I was at the Humber factory the other day. They are currently laminating the mould for an 11mtr wide body rib. Apparently, it'll be 4mtrs wide when complete. It's the Ocean Offshore with another rise and chine around the edge which makes it deeper and wider and also will allow a higher deck inside.

Sounds Impressive! How do you know about it are you designing the Cabin?

You could get a lot of power in a boat that size and it could do a rather efective job as a pilot boat/ Rig Tender/Patrol boat/Small tug

Cheeky boy. Nah, I needed some stuff and was not too far from the factory.

Yeh, it's some size when you stand next to it.

11m wide

The wide 11m has already undergone sea trails and all, including surveyors are very very impressed.

The first vessels will be winging their way up to our partners, Quinquari Marine North (Tony Hill) who also operate Seafari Oban. Tony will be able to provide demos from mid April.

Delivery is from from mid summer on. Outboard and twin diesel versions, with and without cabins available and orders have already been placed. Aimed mainly at the offshore commercial market but may suit those looking for a super RHIB for long distance touring.

In tandem is a wider again version that will be available to 14m. This is under development and the first hull for evaluation is due end of the year.

Cheers
