Simon, don't be put off by the big boys - I will also be out in my 4.8 (not Alum Bay but Spit Sand Fort).

I think that Yarmouth or Lymington will be your best bet for petrol - I paid 95p/litre in Cowes yesterday

Jackeen - see you off Spit Bank Fort - look out for a blue and yellow Ribcraft with 2 nutters in full dry suits [I take no responsibility for the colour scheme of my Scurvy Crew's dry suit - you'll see why on the day]

Not quite but he choose the pink model from Ravenspring - and he got a bl**dy sleeve pocket which they forgot on mine.

Anyone want to bid for a unique RS drysuit that will be worth a lot of money in years to come

I suspect that anyone sat around in a drysuit on Saturday won't be worrying about the colour - they will be boiling over inside that suit!

(PS those little pockets on the Ravenspring suits are a bit small to be any use to a non-smoker - and not watertight enough to be useful to a smoker, I suspect!)

Bloody smokers on RIBs. It's really comforting when you all stop on a cruise to refill the tanks, and damn near everyone lights up. Great thing to be doing whilst there's petrol all over the place!

*Looks at Ian, Dave, Crazyhorse*

Being Left Behind

Hi Guy's & Girl's

Do not worry about speed and being left behind. The idea is for everyone to arrive in the Harbour together.

I will be out in Alum Bay by 10:00 Hrs to meet people I will be on a Gin Palace (sorry)

Plenty of fuel available in Cowes/Yarmouth.

Keep the notes comming It is going to be a fanstastic day out.

Ribald I hope you have got your comfort zip fitted so that you don't cook too much Pink & Lobster springs to mind

See you Saturday.

Sorry I missed you arrive in Dartmouth. I guess the eta's were running a bit late? Anyway, saw Jolly Sailor leave Dartmouth on the next leg from Dartmouth at about 1545, hope you all have fun in the Solent. Safe passage folks.
I wondered if they had Air con in the Cab??? Even at 40knots you needed it today down here!
