So enjoyed myself today!

First I'd like to thank Paul for the lift in Merlin to Calshot and back. And for his company.

Second I'd like to thank Steve and Caroline for the "Jet" boat experience....What a thrill and thank for letting me at the helm. My only regret was not being more aggressive with Pressman, but hey.....It's not my boat! Great! Thanks!

Third, I'd like to thank Andre for offering me a lift back to the Forts aboard His Verado powered 7.5 Parker. What a smooth ride and I managed to hear every word Andre said which speaks "Volumes" about the quiteness of the whole package, very impressed!

Dolphin didn't make an appearance, but some how I wasn't that bothered as I think I'd had enough excitment.

See you all tomorrow guys!

Pressman, can I ask about the exhaust elbows on your engines? They look to have the water injection pipe facing upwards. Does the pipe just terminate as it joins the elbow or is there some clever piece inside, or other device, to prevent water dribbling into the turbo? This is a serious enquiry, I feel my turbo is a little vulnerable and an exhaust elbow similar to yours is being contemplated.

I like the gang photo.

What a lovely day for it too. I did miss out (even after all my study of jets etc.)

due to getting stuck at Heathrow, Caroline & Steve.

Really sad about that.

But Paul had a brill time and will post photos so many thanks.

And thanks Andy for accompanying him.

missus (gutted)

Pressman, I've just seen Hightower's photo in the jetdrive thread, are the elbows double skinned with the water running between them until the rubber hose?
