ah... I can see the two engine's now.

Well if a 9.7 meter RIB didnt perform in the rough i'd be shocked.

Looks like i'm testing the 27 soon.

i can say that we were out there in our 9 meter rib and there is no way i would have been doing those sorts of speeds! it was more than a little lumpy!

Good luck on the 27 sea trial. what engine does it have?

Both will go further than you're prepared to go!! It's the skipper more often than the boat that won't take it!

Thats why Codprawn went out and bought himself a Revenger....but with a fuller raised bow profile for greater buoyancy at the front then?

The hull concerns me... i like going out in silly stuff and i'd worry that in a following sea it would stuff nose first on every wave ( i know you can adjust trip, power, approach, etc etc) - but the osprey is basically bullet proof in that kind of weather...

I guess there could be any number of reasons why someone would buy a prosport. i just cant place my finger on one at the moment.

No rib is bullet proof in any weather! driving style has a lot to do with the performance of any boat in given conditions.

Revenger 27 stepped, lightweight - Mercury 225hp - POA

It's this one... I'm sure none are bullet proof in any weather... but i'd take my 5.85 Osprey in to hell and be sure to come out in one peice... I've just been put off stepped hulls after stuffing the nose a few times on the bananashark... I know I can "drive with conviction" to get out of that situation... but still.

That Revenger and the Osprey are chalk and cheese. Both great boats for what they are set up to achieve.

nice decision to have there!!
