Last trip of the year today. Out on the beautiful and now quite cold Stockholm Archipelago. Hunting for Russian subs. None were seen :-)

Very drafty on the west coast today . At Newport in Cardigan Bay , it seemed to me that the River Nevern was struggling to drain westwards into the Irish Sea . Winds typically westerly( ish ) 40 mph but gusting to 60 + ( Both Swansea & N.Wales )

We all know the wind affects the water , but never seen this particular sight before..........
