Itchen Marine

I am looking for boat storage (On trailor) in Southampton and came across Itchen Marine.
(I have been told they are the closest to Southampton Water)

Does anyone have any information/ recommendations on these people.

Interested to know about security, launching, facilities etc

Many thanks in advance,

Express

hi mate, welcome to ribnet.

Stu (aka Rogue Wave) is our man on the Itchen, unfortunately he has deleted the config file from his pc by mistake so when he has collected my spare system disk and re-installed his software over the next couple of nights he will be back no doubt.

He is on 07774 401963 if you want to have a chat with him in the meantime.

Pete

Don't know anything about Itchen Marine, but we are at Ocean Quay Marina which is right next door. We are really pleased - we have a finger pontoon where our boat can be left as long as we like or we can call them and they will lift her out so that we can 'scrub her bottom' and then they will crane her back in for us. There are also lots of boats left there on trailers that are craned in and out every week-end. There is no slipway but the storage price includes craning in and out. We think this is a fab deal and are very happy. It is secure, small and very friendly - toilets are avail but no bars and cafes.

Regards, Roger.
