Great idea

I have mainly dived in the UK, mainly in Dorest, all year round, and yes in a wet suit. We have loads to see here my personal fav is the Cuttlefish.

Must admit, diving in Turkey last month with 30m+ vis was fantastic.

I'm sure that you will enjoy it. Try to do a shore dive to see the dolphins. They are quite tame and you can go near then even with aqualungs on. Not deep 5-8 mtrs max. Other wise use a mask a snorkel and you have a whale of time.

Send me a pm with the details nearer the time and we may be able to meet up, its not a huge place!
Certainly if you don't know the area well I may be able to point out some good places to dive depending on what you are looking for

The top end is tied to the boat and the bouy put on a ring or carabiner so it can slide. Drive away and the resisitance of the water will slide the bout along the rope lifting the weight straight up till it is stopped at the surface by the bouy at which point you will see the bouy throwing up lots of water as it suddenly starts doing 10 knots or so. The ascender stops the weight dropping back to the seabed when you stop.

Clarity gained, thankyou RBear, off to the climbing shop now for ascender gizmo and to tap up some of the climbers at work who might have some old rope for which I could give them some money....Sounds like what I do for a living!
