What I do find funny and refrain from leaving my chair on the balcony and walking 200m down steps for, is when I see an inflatable tender (with no engine) tied up 5yds from the waterline on the angled jetty. 30mins later it's stuck up in the air vertically as the bow line goes taught and they have to walk out and get wet to untie it! Comedy in front of the pub!!

There was a fair bit of iffy mooring up on lake Garda the buoys that we used would be about 15 to 20 m apart so some muppets used 5 m lines and wondered why they collided together other people used what looked like washing line
