Is this enough HP???

I'm thinking about buying a used 6.8 metre rib which comes with a two stroke 150 hp outboard. Do you think that a 150 hp outboard on a rib that size is man enough to make the ride both responsive and exhilerating?? If not then i'll hold out for something bigger......Thanks in advance.

On balance yes IMO , but if you load it up with lots of gear, say.. 6 peeps and all your gear for a day out, and the sea gives you some challenge on the way back, a little more would be nice

We used to have a 6.65m Cobra with a 150 yamaha 2-stroke HPDi and never found her to be under-powered.
