Is there any kind of Gecko for kids?

Anyone know of a Gecko type helmet with visor for kids? Going to take the kids out down the river over the easter holidays but it can get choppy sometimes.

Hi, we use these as they are padded and warm can be customised with a skip and double up as ski helmets for the kids. To be honest they are the best i have found so far but no visor....

John...we use and recommend these: http://www.powerkiteshop.com/gath-su...ite-helmet.htm that come in various sizes/configurations. They're also about to launch a full face visor for the Gedi/Safety helmet.

Powerkiteshop also have an extensive range of other types. There may be something here that's suitable

Both of my 2 use a Save Phace

Not quite a helmet but it does the job well. They find it much warmer with one on and are happy being out even in January.
If it's raining their coat hoods will still fit over their heads and they stay dry.

The Smaller Nashers, now aged 10 and 12, have been using a pair of Geckos for the last two years, and they fit them quite well. With the full visor they really make a differance to their comfort in anything other than good weather.

They are the older type, the same as mine, with the foam padding pieces which I doubled up for the smallest one. They are ex-RNLI ones I picked up at a boat jumble and spent a lot of time refurbishing. mine is ex-forces sourced the same way.

As a bit of fun I cut some graphics for them which match the font I used to make the graphics for the boat.

I have a 12 year old girl. She'll be going in Gecko's if she ever wants to come out. So far only my lad Frank (6) and my Daughter Kelsey (11) have shown an interest. Hoping she doesn't now as I can't afford bloody Gecko's

So easy for kids to smash there head on something in a RIB (or any boat really) and I can now throw things at them when they are really getting on my nerves
