Seems to good to be true £700 for a 50, its obviously a genuine sale, but may be high hours. May be worth finding out if its been used on a training boat or as a rescue boat. If its a rescue boat fine, but if on a training boat I would get it checked over, just think of all those beginners grinding the gears!

Being that the engine will have been used at Plas Menai, it will almost certainly have been used on a teaching boat. The ad does say low hours though.

Ah well, something to consider, given that I am now looking at buying a 4.5m without an engine, if financially viable!

its more than likely to be tiller control with no trim and tilt

which could be ok remotes can be fitted. most second hand 50 hp mariners are
ex rnli mariners ive seen them at £1400 with a four month warrenty which can,t be to sad the remote kit was about £200 should be a new batch soon

and some are ex greenland engine god knows what they are
