Yes the roof is a great option however you have to consider the COG and balance of the boat.

With the only being six meters, I've put a lot of hours in to making sure the sea keeping isn't compromised. If you had the roof in a big sea she would be too top heavy.

I've used the ICE1 with roof in a big RIB and its an awesome set up. When I come to sell her, if someone really wants the roof then it simply bolts on.

1) larger fuel tanks
2) Custom shockwave ICE2 console and seating on the latest Fox suspension
3) fully plated deck to take seat and gear
4) enlarged stringers and modified transom
5) increased engine from their 115 to F150.
6) Full Raymarine gear
7) moved Nav lights etc to console mount
8) removed A-Frame to lower COG
9) added trim tabs for offshore seas
10) fuel filler relocated to bow as standard is located in Ribeye console.
11) 4 lifting points on deck and then the addition of military spec towing eyes, bow & stern

I will look to sell her on after this season.
Looking Good!..and Custom made to your needs...That's what it's ALL about!
Best of Luck with her!

Nice colour choice Tom, It makes ribeye look a more serious rib than just a leisure rib. I guess other prospective buyers will now follow suit

Drop the red. Either go for the stealth/military look or dont. The red will just muddle things. Mix grey with black.

I'd go with that. Red fades to pink, and it'll look pretty 80's once it starts to fade.

My demo rib Black Magic was an all black Parker 650 . She has been with Greenpeace for 2 years now and if you look up Al Baker's album Ribs in action you will see she looks as good as new

Black looks cool but scratches on the gelcoat become very visible

My 1992 12.5ft Bombard SIB was black.
Every FC470 zodiac ever made is black.
Lots and lots of black RIBs and SIBs out there.

IF you decide to sell the market conditions then will help dictate the price. But market conditions and the overall popularity of the "commando black" seems pretty timeless to me.
