Well the pros obviously can't get it right or there wouldnt have been a collision, so what chance do you have with amatuers.
Dave's rules of survival which have kept me safe for many years.
1) nobody else knows the rules.
2) might is right, even when he is clearly wrong.
3) the survivors of any collision are invariably on the bigger vessel.
