Internal burrs on A frame
Managed to hide all of the wires for the nav lights inside the A frame but I am struggling with the VHF cable. Problem is that the entry hole has sharp burrs on the inside and every time I have to pull the cable back because it has become stuck (I bloody hate fiddly jobs like this!!) it shave a little more of the sheathing off.
Anyone come up with a cleaver (easy) way of filing the internal burrs off?

I had the same problem when rewiring mine, shoddy workmanship if you ask me its feckin obvious that wires are going to be pulled through them.

Go to an electrical wholesaler & buy rubber grommets to match your hole size, if you've already got cables in the hole, just split the grommet & wrap it around the cable bundle & then feed it into the hole.

Thanks PD, I did try something like this but it just pulled out everytime I had to pull the cable back through.

Get a drill bit roughly the same size as the ole and inset it into the ole and then turn it by hand tilting it as you go

I had the same problem, though not as bad. I deburred as best I could then found that there's grommet sets available on Ebay.
Very easy to match what you need and only a few quid.

Nah... It'll be fine, it's only burrs, do it by hand and it wont snap

Alternatively a Dremel with a small stone that fits through the hole. You can them smooth the burr from inside out.
