Insurance Claims

It's that time of the year again - insurance renewal! My renewal from Zurich (aka Nav. & General) is €395 via a local broker and about €275 from Craftinsure.com, a UK based company using the same underwriter. I see Craftinsure get a lot of support on here (esp. from Nos).

So, it's basically the same policy (3 mill. 3rd party), but the big question - how are Craftinsure with a claim? (I'm not planning one )

This type of info might be useful to renewers generally - which brokers & underwriters have Ribnetters found to be helpful in the event of a claim? After all, it's fairly easy to price around, but the proof of the pudding etc. Any comments?

Thanks guys.
