I had a bad experience with Towergate on a commercial policy a couple of years back.
My vehicle and trailer were both written off in an accident. The vehicle insurers (Aviva) could not have been more helpful and paid out in just over a week including recovery and other expenses incurred.
The trailer insurers (Towergate) and their loss adjuster dragged their heels from day one and only paid out 3 months later after being continually pestered. They refused to cover the recovery or other expenses I had incurred.
