Hi,

Do ribnet members get any discount on any Rib insurance, failing that can anyone recommend a company with competitive rates?

Avoid Haven Knox-Johnston. I had a major headache with that company when I used to have yachts; they were very unreasonable to say the least.

I'm not aware of anyone offering a RIBnet discount, but you could try Noble Marine, as they are trade members here.

If one of them did give a genuine discount to RB members, they'd glean a fair bit of business i'd imagine.

Craftinsure here too. No claims to test them, but very nice and easy to deal with.

I aint had no claims but needed a copy of my new policy before I went away on holiday with the boat as the old cover ran out on the day I was traveling and wouldnt have internet access where we were staying. I phoned and explained and two minutes later I had an email with the new policy attached. They were very helpful.... and very reasonable with price.
