Thanks folks, I'm running around in circles with this. From what Kernow has been advised I may have to go to Avon. Or just go on blind faith and pay the figure of 140-150 I've had off two companies today.

Yeah it's a good couple of quotes I got. Allot less than I was getting last week. Do ya think I'm being a little over parnoid about the over powered issue? Always found it's best to dot the i's and cross the t's when it comes to insurance.

I reckon 150 is a good price - like I said as long as you have told them everything you should be fine . Worth making doubly sure they know - like write extra notes on the proposal , send them some pics of locks/ wheel clamps / the boat & engine ( or at least keep a few with the docs so they can see & have proof of what you are doing you should be fine. ( and they help in a claim to prove value & condition)
