Info on Quiksilver Amanzi RIB anyone??

Quiksilver AKA Mercury Marine has developed Hypalon 3.2 3.8 ribs that take 30 and 40 hp respectively with bench seats, console etc.
Im wondering if anyone had heard of them or have a picture of one.
Aparently they are called the manzi range (not sure )

thanks for your help

As I have learnt from Marine Power Europe there are such ribs - but they are "Mercury" RIBs, not Quicksilver RIBs. They are made in South Africa for Mercury in the US and at this point of time are being distributed in the US and Australia only. - so in your neck of the woods

No decision has yet been made whether to bring them into Europe.

I attach 2 pictures of a pre-production boat - some details were changed in the final
production. 2 models in the 10' - 12' range.

I hope this of interest to you

KLT, if you're after something similar in style and looks to the above, take a look at the Zodiac Yachtline range. Not Hyperlon but who cares? Furthermore, there's a good range available on the 2nd hand market.

Thanks for the pictures thats exactly what i was looking for do you have anymore photos and further info its all a bit cloudy here, theres only one in the country supposedly

Yes I like the Zodiac yachtlines very much but im just not sure about the price and I like the new design for 2003 of the 340DL and 380

I basically have around $11000 AUD to spend on the boat
the yachtline 340 is 12800
and the quicksilver/mercury im interested in because i thought it may cost less than a zodiac.

I have been looking at second hand boats but there arnt many good ones for sale here in Australia.

Zodiac

Stick with Zodiac. When (not if) you have a problem with the tubes the zodiacs can be slipped off. Then all you do is ship them to repair man. I'm getting good at this ...... twice this year.
