There is a lot of personal taste involved too. I personally prefer a rib to look a bit "tough" and am not a major speed freak so I prefer more traditional looking boats to either the modern sleeker designs or the more "mediteranean" designs.
As much as I enjoyed RIBEX last year your only going to want to spend £20000 + after tasting those boats.
The troubkle with RIBEX is you try a boat and like it, then you price it up new, find it costs a fortune, so you go second hand and then you find you can't get the boat you originally wanted.
As much as 10 grand is I stand by my earlier post that you need to really make some compromises at that budget to get on the water.
Whatever boat is chosen I personally would go for a slightly older boat if it meant I could afford a good engine. At the end of the day its the engine that really gets you home. As long as the boat is not a dog.

A question- What fuel budget do you have?

I don't know anything about these and it's got a few years on it but if the other guys think it's ok it might be worth a look.

Just googled the name- they make lifeboats for the German navy so I'd guess they are pretty good.

Yeah, I saw that one too. LPG conversion on that and it'd be a hell of a boat-and there's plenty of seating.

i think a ferry is probably more in order...!

that is a lot of people on a small rib, you will kill performance, sell the dog and get a baby sitter for all the kids and have some kid free time!

you need a rib with basically 9 seats!!!!! good luck

mine is 6.5 and rated to 14 people, not sure where they would all go!
