If I had a larger Rib I know what I would be doing today & tomorrow

A freind of mine has just offered me a very reasonable sum of money to collect 3 people from Cherbourg back to Blighty tomorrow if they can't get a ferry tonight

If I had a big rib I think I would have been "ambulance chasing" over on t'other side of the channel for the last couple of days. Perfect weather for it too !

At £500 per head you cant really complain !

Aurevoir !

I'd advise against this as accepting money in exchange for lifts will be seen as commercial activity by your insurance company who will drop you like a stone if something goes wrong.

Yes, radio 5 earlier passing on requests for no more foot passengers at one of the major ports, Dover I think.

A pal of mine did Eastbourne to Boulogne and back this morning, reckons he earned enough money to pay this years boating costs, and NO, he's not coded!
