There is very little info - the South African web site and a US facebook page. Thats it basically. Paul is the chap to get the info from.

I will post up some more pictures and stuff once Ive had a go in mine. Im not sure if it will fit on a normal trailer - but mine comes with a trailer, so I dont have to worry about that.

I need to start getting all the extras I need now to actually use it:

Boat cover - who makes the best ?
Towbar - otherwise I cant even pick it up.
Fenders
Safety equipment
Suitable clothing for the UK
A custom ladder - suitable for scuba diving - any one make them ?
Bimini - its going to be hot in Corsica
VHF - hand held or in the consol ?

What else do I need ?

Very Cool Boat, still trying to decide between mono / multihull for my next purchase, what made you chose a multihull, apart from the wife liking the colour ?

Some obvious reasons - Performance and economy.

Some felt - the ride was simply amazing, we tested two other normal RIBs that day, this was better by a massive difference.

Some less obvious - way more space at the front.

Visually it also looked like a million dollar boat, the others just looked like RIBs, some were nice, others just OK, none were stunning. Even the Scorpions just looked nice, not as good as I was expecting.

Also I really like the application of design and technology to a problem. All the other RIB's are still using the same solution and there is little between them. Where as this is head and shoulders above them in several respects.

Fenders
Safety equipment-lifejackets, first aid kit, fire extinguisher(s) PLB, trailer spares, basic engine spares, filters, plugs, oil, etc.spare kill cord(s), knife,
Suitable clothing for the UK-personally I'd go dry suit, especially if you're trailering rather than keeping it in a marina or drystack, much easier for launching in a drysuit.
A custom ladder - suitable for scuba diving - any one make them ?
Bimini - its going to be hot in Corsica
VHF - hand held or in the consol ? Both- I'm surprised there isn't one already fitted, did it come with electronics?

What else do I need ?
That's just for starters.

Thanks, The Scorpion Sport 88 was up there on my list, just annoyed I couldn't get to Southampton to give a few a go! Definitely looks like an very expensive boat. So much smoother ride in the chop than a monohull? Would love to hear how it handles big seas when you get the chance? Thx again

It did come with quite a lot, just a few things missing. Once I get it home I will be able to make a proper list and figure out what I need right away and what I need later on.

Im not 100% sure what it comes with to be honest Two engines and a trailer, large Garmin, the rest is lost in the haze of buying my first boat.

I may dry stack it till I take it to Corsica - I live so far away from the sea. Whereas in Corsica my place is 15 mins from the marina, so I may just keep it in the marina while Im there.

The Scorpion was nice, but still didnt have the layout, hydrofoils and ride of the Hysucat. Looking at it I felt it was over priced for what you got.

I am drooling. Care to tell us (to the nearest 20K) what the damage might be?

To be honest Im not sure what it will finally cost. There are some extras I need which will be added onto the final cost which may cost a few grand.

But I did sell a two bedroom house to fund it

The solicitor rang me while at the show to say the money has been transfered. That helped the buying process.

Looking around yesterday at the show the boat afloat was in the 50's, not sure of the spec but looked fantastic on the water

Ooooh! new game, new game. I'm guessing not much change (if any) out of £55K

I thought I had seen it advertised at a lower price than that ?
Thought it had smallish fuel tank capacity ?

It looks great - have loads of fun in her !
