Bought A Rib Today

Well went to SBS, met JK and Pete7 I think anyway they got my Free tickets and they were most grateful. Blimey JK is tall I'm 6' and he dwarf's me!!

Anyway, I went for an Avon 6.2m (new colour scheme for 2005) Navy tubes with a Suzuki DF140, 2 x Double Jockey's, 1 Bench Seat, Plus Large Consule with bench seat in front. Double A Frame with Nav Lights, just got to decide which extra toys to fit into the consule.

So thank you to all who posted replies with advice, got there in the end and got a stonking price, plus a wicked test drive.

Will post pics when I get delivery in October/November, so hopefully there will still be some people around so I can meet up with you in the Solent.

It wasn't Pete7 actually (before he wonders what's going on!) it was a different Peter. Thanks for the tickets

Looks like you spent a bit more than me, although a bacon baguette at the show cost almost enought to buy a small RIB . . .

John

Yeah, food was horribly expensive, as was the beer. But I did get to play with the remote controlled trailer....

Seriously, anyone tried the Cuprotect antifoul product?

Hi gArfie,

I reckon he's nearer 10 feet 4 inches, as he's twice as tall as me.

P.S. You spelt your name wrong - too many capital letters! Or have you changed it by deed poll?

I can tell you one thing, a wise man would not want to pick a fight with him, that's for sure. However he is a very friendly chap!! indeed
