I got nicked by the police......

Well how else was I going to get a ride on the Essex Marine Police rib!

Asked if the guys wanted to swap boats, I was in a 4mtr Humber with 20HP as the clubs safety boat (its about 15 years old) but they offered me a ride instead. Its the newer grey/black rib with 2x225Hp engines.

For someone that doesn't have a rib of his own, let alone one that does 50Knots, it made me look like this -

I saw them coming out of Brightlingsea Harbour last month - it's a serious bit of kit that RIB - It's an Arctic I think?

I was out on the RibRaid on Lough Erne last October when we were joined by this NI Police Service Redbay rib - now that is a piece of kit!
