Hypalon suppliers
I'm after some Hypalon in black to cut 6 sections out to act as wear patches on top of the tubes. Putting 3 each side.
It's pishing down outside so no exact size yet.
Can any of the trade members give me a price per meter/feet please? I've had a quick look on your websites but can't find a price for just the material.
Cheers

Its an Avon, it has HD tubes, polish it if you must, otherwise leave it alone

Once found a RIB on the net that had what look like treadmaster glued on for the same. Have you ever heard of treadmaster being used? Or is there a similar product that looks like it?
Polymarine really need to sort there search engine out.
Cheers Pete

Parker put something similar to treadmaster on their tubes for wear patches. I'm sure Andre will be able to tell us what it is.

Hi JSP
Treadmaster works really well. Both are on our website, if you can't find it just pop me a message and I will post a link.

Found the treadmaster, thanks RS.
Think I'm going to use treadmaster as wear patches. Trying to get onto a RIB with wet tubes, stepping down from a pontoon can be a ball-ache. Literally.

I can vouch for the Treadmaster. Redbay use it (or something very similar) for all their "wear patches". It withstands the test of time well and is obviously non-slip.

Hi John
You mean this stuff http://www.henshaw.co.uk/productpopup.cfm?id=73
Its quite expensive, I got some at Eurocraft in Leyland, they had some left over from a job so it was much cheaper.

The stuff I's seen had the chequer plate effect much like treadmaster. That stuff's worth a look though, cheers

A tad inclement, I used the pale gray not black, attached is a picture of the patches but it does not show the pattern at all well. But i never could use a camera, your welcome to look at it in the flesh sometime.

Nice RIB! You know Keith, you strike me as the kind of guy who would suit a Searider with 2 stroke 115. If you really twisted my arm I would swap
Did Eurocraft stock it? And I'm always up your way so let me know when your next out if you don't mind. Would like to see the stuff fitted.

Hi John
I will ignore the first comment
Eurocraft do not normally stock it in the gray which was what I wanted but found some left over from another job. Give them a bell and ask.
Should be out Bank holiday week baring gales and/or horizontal rain.
Keith
