Stingers

I think you'll find the Scorpion Owner's Club has already been founded. This occurred in August 2003 in and around the Solent. Founding members were:

Richard B
Louise
Jasper
Marie
Peter Lightfoot

Honorary members:

The Jackeens
Robin Lightfoot

Application pending:

Nigel T

Regarding your application for membership, it will be put to the vote at the inaugural AGM (not yet arranged). Your kind offer of clubhouse facilities will no doubt ensure your application is successful (even without any nepotism from founder members).

Right fine. I thought you might like to be honorary members but if you're gonna be like that, consider your honorary membership terminated.

Im a Gemini in fact that's why I talk a lot of pollox I expect.

I think however that there are probably more Humbers than other boats around.

Count me in for the Humber club, I will also lower the bar from Aging Youths 5.3m to my Humble 5m. To be honest though if likeminded people are going to put to sea in RIBS anywhere near to me I'd be happy to meet and greet and have fun whatever the manufacturer.

Owners Club's

Hi Guy's & Girl's

I have been reflecting on this over the past week. I had the following thought. If every make of Boat manufacture had an owners club would we still have Ribnet?

I have had so much fun meeting eating, drinking and even a bit of boating in between that I have not enough weekends in the year to fit it all in. So with this in mind I enjoy all my ribbing regardless of make or model. If I can join in with Humbers owners then I will but just as I would cruise with anyone else who would have me as crew or company.

Regards
Kevin.
