Humber or Beneteau? It's a bit of an oddment... can't say it's an oddment that particularly appeals to me, either. Just looks too front-heavy.

it says its a humber destroyer, it looks like a humber destroyer and its got a humber hypalon badge on its tail end...odds on its a humber.

Bit of weight in the front end but they do run better with some weight there-think that may be just a tad too much. Would like to see it/trial it for real to see what potential there was for a proper job being done on one-or if that indeed is a proper job
Strange--- "location chichester" but description says its in channel isles

Really, this would be my first rib and I no nothing about fibre glass etc, would this be a DIY job?

Would it be a matter of carefully cutting it off, sanding it down and gel coating over the top.

Regards

Mike

It would be a DIY for me but how handy are you?. Don't forget you have all the controls and dash board on there somewhere, that will have to go first

What is used to look like

I looked into buying this RIB a couple years ago, but it didn't have the accommodation back then....
Was also a different hull colour, so presume it's been painted?
It was on Jersey at the time, starting to look a little sorry for it's self.
In a strange kind of way, I don't mind the sauna on the front....

It is particularly unpleasant to behold. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But in this case it may be a finger.
