Just ripped console out of an ocean pro fairly new too,, been stood a while but feck me,,,

The floors spongy as feck,,, drilled 100mm hole well tried my best kept holding the bit as its so wet,, nothing under Neath the ply at all, no primer no glass just bare wood,

Well shocked to be fare,, and who ever rigged it wants shooting big time,,,
Huge kinks in hydro pipes, control cables are 2.5 mtrs longer than required. Totally shocking. The whole thing,,,,
Undone screws on seating and it simply lifted off,,, cheapo silicon for sure,, last one I did took me for ever to separate console from the deck,,,

Nothing to do with home completion Nos. that's how they are as I found out, I could not believe the consol's were screwed down with self tappers and as I found out. clear Silicone sealer. Check out the quality in this little gem.

My SR? It's awesome! e-tec outperforms the hull..... or me!

Hey Nugent, if you get wind of a 6mt that needs a bit of TLC (and would look good with twin e-tec 90's) give me a shout, you can't have them all to yourself!

Done les than 20hrs according to laptop,,, even engine is fitted central and way to low , got o be home completion job,,,,,but hulls a joke pure bad practice,I primer and laminate both sides of my floors,,,

This old humber I did last year was cut and tank sunk into deck,,it was bone dry and laminated under the deck no rot any place

So to me that is penny pinching 12 yrs on there not sealing the ply, but they cost more lots feckin more

Well when you wasn't looking I took a week off and explored the limits (scared my self silly) and put some hours on the engine.
It was like that memorable line from Jaws, 'We're gonna need a bigger boat'

The SR5.4's are great but I have come down from a 6.2m and there just doesn't seem to be 'any substitute for cubes' (cubic inches). anyway this is Nugents thread.....

glad to hear you're feeling better Edd, take it steady on this one, sounds like it's fit for the scrap heap but no doubt you'll have it sorted soon enough

Bit disappointing to read this about Humber.
They retubed Merlin a few years ago. Tubes still look great
and no issues.

Anything on the right side of 6m needs a pair of 115s, not 90s & if you're putting 115's on, you might as well go the whole hog & put 130s on it

So how can you find out if the under deck of a rib is laminated or not "without" drilling the thing!

Plus, if it isn't laminated is there any recourse to them?
