are you suggesting leaving the bungs out when "at sea" ? if that was wise then why fit a bung in the first place. Have you considered what would happen in a really bad stuff where the front of the tubes get ripped off the hull?

Just the front sheet back end was fine. Strange,,

Just had to move engine about. also seat at incorrect height, and surprise surprise, no silicon on the engine mounting bolts,,,, transom fine though,,,

Under floor cabling defo looks better, just got to move fuel filter inside console and ass end will be clean tidy,,

In a word, no. I was merely thinking through the logical downsides of "if" the boat flooded for any reason.
