Hull serial number nearly gone completly

I want to get my current hull serial number put on a new bit of metal - any ideas where i can get this done? police station perhaps?

Yeah I reckon ask nicely at a police station (yes mr officer, of course mr officer, i will make you a cake mr officer) cos they have the punches to code bikes.

Most metalwork shops have letter & number punch sets you could try to get a local one to make up a plate on stainless steel (if they can punch that)

I'll make you one out of traffolite, for a cost of a beer at the next RIBnet gathering at the Church, Ollyit.

PM me what you want on the plate and I'll see what I can do! May be an MMSI number as well, because if it gets nicked and you've registered a VHF, the RIB can find a way back to you though the Radio agency.
