Hull Cleaner

Morning All

Any one know of some powerfull cleaning equipment to clean the hull. The boat has been left in the water for 4 weeks and is filthy and the hull is stained yellow. Any ideas chaps.

If it is for the yellow stain try Y10. It is like a jelly that you brush or sponge on and wash off after 10 mins. I have used this a number of times and it is superb!

You could always try a steam cleaner pressure washer on 'hot' mode, *not* steam mode...... that worked for me last year.

The only thing to make sure of is that it doesn't come into contact with the tubes, or the joins where the glue is, or you could have a few leaks afterwards.

hull cleaner

For a novel and hands on approach I have got in to the marina in a dry suit and lifejacket with a scrubbing brush, it is slow no chemicals needed and scrub away the foul and staining, the good news is,less growth with less daylight over the winter months, it is also a good opportunity to inspect the hull close up gavin
