Add in 50kgs of fuel, and it comes in and a tidy 720kgs towing weight
So you were carrying fuel....

130kg mentioned

Boat weight 360kg.

130kg mentioned again

Now the fuel isn't in the boat, funny that.

I'm fixated by the weight, wonder where I got it from?

Interesting.

Unsure why you felt the need to try and catch me out on something that hasn’t happened apart from in your, what I can only assume is an alcohol fuelled brain by now.

Even though my cup of tea is going cold I’ll go through your points 1 by 1.

Point 1, manufacturers weight of engine that I was looking at only, not bought.

Point 2, “IF” I buy the engine I was looking at that is what the manufacturers say it weighs, same as point 1 but you took it as 2 separate points.

Point 3, was using the included fuel weight to make the point the EVEN with it in it would still come in under weight according to the bit of reasearch I did, and then said many times (which you failed to point out) that I carry all extras in the tourer...but hey, why use actual facts when they don’t help your point right ?

Point 4, even I’m not sure what your point is, just Some random quotes I’ve made which are all correct at time of printing.
Started out over 20yrs ago with a small 12 foot boat and a seagull engine.
The current boat and trailer were taken to Fairweather Marine local to me and was checked over by lee and Tom who (without engine) said all was good, and would you believe it, they were right....weird.

And over the last 20yrs I’ve bought and sold over 40 boats, mostly seahogs and small tenders.

So which part of that is bullshit ?

Sorry I missed one of your points.

Boat and trailer weighed 620, trailer weighs 170.

620 - 170 = 450, you had it at 485 (extra 35).

Everything is above....good luck with selling it when time comes. If another novice looks up humber 5.5 on Google there is a decent chance they will find this thread and make up their own mind. Will also see a guy who claims to have sold 40 boats and is comfortable selling something with the wrong trailer under it and the buyer is a twat for not doing their own checking.....nice work!

It will be 40 happy customers and 1 raging one

Dear Lord. This place is brutal. This post being a prime example. There are lots of 'established heavy hitters' on the forum who like a good beat down on the niave.
Thanks for the information over the years. I genuinely appreciate it but it's time to move on.

You are making this too easy for me.

Put your pint down for a second and pay attention.

WHY WOULD IT HAVE THE WRONG TRAILER when I have already stated if it’s 1kg over I’ll upgrade the trailer....now you really are just making stuff up.

The word Twat was never used or implied, what was implied was, before buying a boat do your homework, And if they do they will find that my boat WILL have the correct trailer AS STATED.

Next .

I’m sorry if I’m included in that post pingu, I’m pretty sure I’m not but you can never be totally sure.

Unfortunately these kinds of forums always go the same way, if you dare challenge or comment constructively you will get a small percentage of the long standing members jumping up and down in a rage that someone with not as many posts or years under their belt DARE to not accept what they say as gospel.
One of the reasons I very rarely post.

Nice swerve Xk59D.

Avoiding the fact that you utterly failed in whatever it was you were trying to achieve and made yourself look a tit.

I don’t know who lee is or about kill switches, but I can only assume it’s someone you decided to wage a war on because he dared to disagree with you ?

Who gets the £20 ?

Correctamundo, I am a tit as many will attest to I'm sure.

You are merely another notch to add to the gated list who think so, my wife keeps the list in her pocket to remind me so I'll make sure you are added.

Anyone else wants added I'll fire up a surveymonkey, I hate double work when marking out tit gates.

I’ve been reading this thread as it’s progressed, I have a 5.5m Destroyer with a 90HP 2 stroke Yam, all up on the trailer it’s around 1250kg.

No I’m not even going to waste my time moving it. He’s had answers to his question and isn’t interested in any opinion he doesn’t want to hear - unfortunately you only fuel this type of troll with your persistent niggling.
