Yep. Done one about 4/5 years ago. A bit of a fiddle to get it to look nice and tight. It was put on a 6m boat for an old boy who liked fishing.
From memory it came out about £1600 them

That sounds pretty good value Biffer. Was it collapsable and removable? I'd assume there would little rubber hooks on the tubes for the bungee around the bottom to hook on. The support strap could go to the centre console.
I'd be interested in something like that, though ideally coming slightly further back towards the centre console. Could be one to sort over next winter. You interested?

Yes could have a look at another one. The fittings for the hoops have come on a way since then.
It did fold down but in fairness didn't look good. We had it laced on to a flap that was attached to to tube round the front. It was really easy to remove and he used to put the two hoops against his aflame and put the hood in his seat pod.
Just before Xmas I did a full hood on a power boat. The hoops slot together for even easier storage

It's a bit up and down. One minute good next minute bad. Just really tired all the time. Still loads of people worst off than me so I'm doing ok. Thanks for asking

The Greeks have a taught canvas over two A frames, used to protect from the sun. A sleeker profile with thinner stretchier material, more of a bow dodger than the full cuddy design on the Delta. But theyre waterproof and windproof. They're pinned down similarly with rubber hooks on the tube and a bungee run round the bottom. can't find a uk maker though?

On here it appears a few are after them, surely someone who makes covers etc could make some ££££ selling these?

We have had some luck putting a North Face Tadpole tent on the bow of my friend's Wilard 7m. We pitch it fly-only and put the foot-end of the tent on the bow, five holes back on his grommets, the middle pole three holes back on the second set of grommets, and then ziptie the front to the inner grablines. It fits quite well and allows nice ventilation while affording shade. Haven't tried running on plane with it, and I don't think it would keep rain out, but for summertime camping it works quite well!
