How much is it worth ?

Hi all,

thinking of sell our rib but don't have a clue how much it is worth,

can anyone give me a guide price ?

its a 2002 Ribeye 4.5m Wavecross with a 2002 Yamaha 40hp 4 stroke with PT&T, on roller trailer with unused spare wheel, both the boat & engine have 238 hours use, both in good/very good condition, used in the sea for its first year, then I bought it in June 2003 and since then only used in fresh water,

rib has: bow seat with cushion & locker below, side by side seating with large locker below, splashwell, no feedback steering, Fishfinder, console & seat cover ( only a few years old ), an all-over "winter" cover that is not 100%, no discolouring to tubes or gelcoat or engine decals ( photos taken with florescent lighting on therefore all photos show a yellow tint ) the flywheel cover was taken off just to give ease for pull starting if required ( will be refitted )

That's a remarkably clean/tidy looking boat. It's amazing considering it's age. Someone WILL be getting a nice one.

correct......... its all down to how one looks after things, even with low hours/use,

T 15 is 39 years old ( wood ) & the Merc 500 is 36 years old and both are "like new"........

Yes Plymouth I'm based.

You may get £5,500 for it, not from me. Leaves nothing left. It's very clean and should be an easy sell. I'd stick it up on here and B/O if I was you. You
L get full value then

Or leave it with me when you collect your other boat and I'll sell it for you. Ribnet gets customers a massive discount on brokerage, electronics etc from us

Depends how quickly you want to sell it? Give it a month or so, once the season starts up and you've got a package that's ready to tow and launch which puts you in a good position. Pitch your price too high and you'll restrict the calls from those interested. Although at the end of the day it's what someone is prepared to pay.

The Ribeye and Yamaha 40hp is a perfect leisure starter boat. The fact the engine is a Yamaha, mint, 4-stroke with relatively low hours will help you sell.

A Zodiac pro 7-man (4.2m) or 9-man (4.7m) are comparable, especially for those that want the leisure set-up including bench seat, bow cushion, console, etc. Here's what's on the market so you can see condition, etc.

Pennine Marine Ltd > 2003 ZODIAC PRO 9 MAN
http://www.willsmarine.co.uk/store-p...nda-50hp-£7250

Also found this on Apollo Duck for 2010 Ribeye 4m with double jockey and late 2006 Mercury 40hp 4-stroke. Ribeye Prestige 4m Boats for sale UK, Ribeye Used boat sales, Ribeye Inflatable Boats For Sale Ribeye 4m with console and engine - Apollo Duck

thanks for this,

I also found an ad on Done Deal Ireland for a 2001 Lencraft 4.8m with Mariner 75hp 150 hrs inland use only, for £ 4580.

again, thanks to all.
