Isn't the proper question, "How many boats can I have?"

Let's see, current fleet scattered about the house and yard comprised of:

1. Searider 5.4 mR RIB
2. C&C 25 family pocket cruising sailboat
3. SKUD 18 Paralympic class racing sailboat
4. leaky old Achillies SIB
5. 12' sea kayak
6. original Windsurfer sailboard
7. Sunfish class sailboat

And there's a whitewater kayak left in the basement by a friend of my wife's... I probably own that by common law after 4-5 years of it sitting there! Only the first 3 have been wet in a few years though. Probably ought to get rid of a few, but I don't want to give any of them up! Obviously, I like boats too

Who's got more??? There better be someone with more boats! My wife occasionally refers to me as "Admiral"

6 boats at present...

21 Yacht.. I know disgraceful...
8.4m Avon RIB (well 1/3 share...)
4.0 m Avon Searider.. looking for an engine...(50hp L/S)
13ft Dell Quay Dory... with old school 40 hp Mariner..
10ft C Craft inflatable.. 10hp Mariner
Avon Redcrest..

SO the yacht for those weekends away, the dory is a project boat at present.. the searider I bought yesterday and will be kick ass.. the inflatables for those places where big boats can't go and the 8.4m.. well that is another story..

The best part are the bottom 4 boats on my list total less than £2000!! the other two are far more and get used far less...explain that one..

Gave up boating..

Incidentally I gave up boating last month and took up clay pigeon shooting.. this month I have bought 4 boats!! and still go clay shooting!! So far from costing less has double my hobby spending!! not quite tried shooting and ribbing at same time yet.. I think they call that piracy!!!

1x Ribtec 585
1x Searider 5.4
2x 3m Sibs
2x Kayaks
4x Mirror Dinghies (Saily boats!), soon to be none
2x Yachting World 14' Dayboats (Sail again!), soon to be 3
1x Sparkman & Stephens 34' Sailing Yacht
1x Dell Quay Dory
1x Windsurf Board

Oh, and I think we still own a small rowing boat thingy although not sure. Not all my personal boats (although you could try and add in the charter fleet of the company I work for, that adds 20 boats), they belong to my immediate family.
