If you name them in a public forum then the damage is terminal.

I thought the whole point of a forum was to share information about things we like, RIBs and RIB related things good or bad in this case. If you can not share information about a bad supplier does that mean we only praise the good ones. I would hope not.

Was the threads original question answered ? Yes! We all agree 4 months is to long to wait.
Lets hear who it is or move on to more interesting things.

If the goods had been sent on time or at least an explanation and a refund the buyer wouldn't be having this problem.

As the supplier hasn't fully refunded by now I can't get my head around how naming, shaming, humiliating...is going to either endear anyone to anyone or kick-start a reconciliation process.

If the supplier hasn't the cash, he can't pay. If he's that thick skinned that he's comfortable not returning phone calls or emails to explain, I'd doubt a rant on a minority interest forum is going to have him quaking in his boots.

Just my opinion

In that case, what's the harm in naming him, you never know, he might be a prominent member of the forum

I can see this going the way of the super injunction farce, it'll all come out eventually

I was thinking more to protect other forum members from using the same company and getting shafted?

I think the issue is that he is trying to build a business and is struggling. If I name him, he will miss out of at least some business he gets from this forum and it may prove fatal.

If the determination by him to 'do the right thing' continues, I see no need to deal yet another blow to what is a fragile business.

Others may not be as tolerant as me, but that's just me!

Yep, Chewy and I totally agree with that. I don't want to be shafted any more than the next guy

Question is, does the OP want to sacrifice or compromise any recovery he might make for the sake of protecting others...in order to protect others, sometimes you have to protect yourself first

I think the company in question has had more than enough time to sort it out. I'd have taken further action by now.
