How long can you go without bottom paint

I got a wet slip and plan to put my new boat in it, but the boat won't be ready for a while. If I put my current 14' RIB in the slip, how long can I leave it in the water without any bottom paint? How should I clean it when I put it back on the trailer?

It's salt water, Santa Cruz CA, USA.

It's surprising how soon the Growth and Critters will take hold...
but a few (4-6)weeks should be ok with a good power wash to remove any Crud when you take her out.

My boat has been in the water since early May, I was just looking at it as I took it out the water to work on. It has barnacles growing on the tubes.

its all down to where you moor, i know spots less than 500 meters apart, one you can moor all season no growth, the other heavy deposits in weeks.

My mooring dries out at 2 hours to low tide, within 6 weeks it was covered in mud and weed. It needs a good clean quite often.
