How fast??

What would the top speed would be for a Ribcraft 6.4 with a 175hp Suzuki? Anyone any thoughts? Has anyone got one?

All information would be gratefully received!

Thanks

Chris

Why not call Dorian at Ribcraft. He'd be able to give you theoretical speed then compare what the owners say on here.

Ribcraft 6.5

Hi all,

I have a 6.5 Ribcraft with a Honda 150. With two on board and 40 or so gals. of gas, I get 42-43 kts at wot. By the way, to Colin, I didn't know that honda sells a 175 hp. It's not sold over here.

There was a bloke on here about a year ago selling a 6.5 RC with a DF175 he said it did 45 knots (Remember he's selling) with the 23" suz prop.

My 5.85 RC with DF150 does 47knots. if it helps.

Thanks guys need to go down and check what prop we have. Still running the engine in and was a little concerned about the speed as we were only running about 22kts at about 4000 rpm, but i guess (hope!) all the power will be at the end!

Thanks
