We ended up going from hamble to cowes and then on to Portsmouth. Was great fun in the following sea - got a bit wet though!

Not looking forward to going back the other way today...

A Windy Day!

I took delivery of Aries IV yesterday.

My daughter and I went for a spin with "Mr. Scorpion" at around 11:00, just outside Lymington ...49.7kts on the GPS!!!

Quite a good beginning really. Should improve when I can burn off some of that fuel!

Pretty wet in the PM, when we ran up the Western Solent but the boat handled superbly.

Here at last!

Chris.

Excellent news, Chris!

You'll need to change your profile now... 8.1 hull with a 250 Etec if I remember correctly?

Aries IV

Thank you for your kind comments, CT01 (Charles?) and Richard,

I took my wife to see the boat on Sunday but we couldn't even take the covers off, as the rain was torrential!

Hoping for slightly better weather next weekend, although I really need to spend some time programming things and familarising myself with the electronic equipment, so we may not really get to use the boat properly for another week.

Still - Summer's coming ... or is it already here?

Best wishes,

Chris.

(Keep up Richard ... it's 8.5!)
