High Density Foam Pontoons

Hiya

Whats the deal with the new high density foam pontoons??
Has anybody have any experience with them?? Advantages or
disadvantages??

I like the idea of no more worries of punturing your pontoons, but
don't know the weight difference.

help!!!!!!!

What would be a RFB then?
Dose the foam have the same fendering ability to air, will the shape distort with time (foam normally dose!)

Hiya

Yip. Basically the same fendering ability and retains its
shape quite well. I've only seen prototypes here, was
wondering if anybody actually used one.

Expecting there to be a weight difference, but the advantages
of no worries about puntures are great!!!

Another option to solid foam fenders is the foam/air version. See the following link for details
