Brian,

Is this the slip. And how much is it to park the car and trailer ? Also how long does it take to get out to sea ?

Cheers Nick R.

Nick, Thats the badger, Trailer is Free, car park I believe is £3.50. Trip to sea is a very pleasant 15-20 Min. Advantage is a lot of it is brakish water so you get a free washout of the engine.

Its a very good slipway and apart from the parking its free, i ve used it 100's of times without any bother, just keep an eye on your depthsounder going down the harbour.

Do you have to split the car and trailer or can they stay together ?

Also is it an all tide slip ?

I'm considering using this slip so I can venture farther West.

Thanks for the advice guys. Its appreciated.

Nick, Yep you do have to split the outfit, trailer in the trailer park and yep youve guessed where the car goes. If you take up a car space with the trailer then you pay double. The slip is all states of the tide, however at low water there is a large'ish drop off, but there is a way around it with a 4be. I.E you use the beach on the down stream side works for us all the time. If you need any more info please get in touch.

Brian has answered most of your questions there, at low tide there is a very large drop off, but I have recovered there at low tide but I wouldn't recommend it to people new to the area.
Trailer goes in the trailer park and car in the car park, slipway is wide enough for two to lauch at a time, but in the summer months there is occasionally a que.
