Henshaw tube service

as there is so much doom and gloom recently i thought i would put my findings down for others to benefit!!
dropped my SR5.4 in for a tube re-furb recently to Henshaws down in Somerset,4 days later i hardly recognised it

all repaired, tidied up,new military handles fitted, leaks fixed, and all was cleaned and sealed, looks fantastic!!

a big thank you for the speed and professionalism shown and a great price too!! give it a go!! they have some lovely ribs down there to look at, Mark Pascoe's etc Highly recommended,

Lucky git - I wish I could drop my Humbubble Self-Destroyer in for somebody to sort out and just say "send me the bill" to be rewarded with a nice shiny as-new boat, it would be lovely

I always think it is worth commenting on good service, as so many people only say anything when it's bad.

Couldn’t agree more I always make a point of phoning my suppliers up and thanking them when they have gone out of there way to help me out as so many people only phone them when something is wrong and don’t even think to thank them when they go out of there way to get it right

prices were good for the amount of labour that went in to it, i had new bow strake , all new military handles, they cleaned up any frayed edges or relaced, new patches over the ends of the side rubbing strake, removed and tightened those hanging tool bags you get on seariders, repaired two leaks, stencilled on the air pressure data in white paint x 3, and cleaned, £500,!!

I wouldn't be too sure !!!

Given that winter is the time when least boating gets done it's probably also the time that most repairs and refurbs are done. I'd give them a call to find out if I were you. Either that, or give Paul Tilley a ring and see if he can sort you out.
