As time goes by we hope to reduce prices even further. As our own prices come down we will pass the savings on rather than increase our profits - it's all about volume.

We don't make much on each one but IF we get the volume we will be ok.

Got o admit I am getting seriously cold feet now we are about to launch - can't believe how much work it's taken!!!

Again thanks everyone for the support.

Huh! You think you've got timing issues, I recently parted with 120 squid plus VAT to shift a quarter pallet (75kg) from Devon (oh arrr) to Norn Iron (hi). Damn, could have waited.

Good luck!

We have business out on the Hebrides and use AJG parcels, Hebrides haulage and DR McLeod's.. Because of the smaller vehicles, transits, AJG do a lot of work and a a very good service. The cheaper ferry fares should have a better result fro these smaller vehicles. For the small items you cannot beat the royal mail, I have purchased stuff from Portsmouth at 4pm one day and its been delivered at 11am the next.

Agreed .. I just got two pairs of wellies sent from Devon to the Aultbea area on a 2 day service and cost me £7.50 using parcelforce I sometimes wonder whether using a Web service, that the supplier takes a hit on the delivery price though to outlying places, because I couldnt see where on the site my delivery address had any relevance to the shipping cost ?
