You may recall I contacted you soon after you were involved with the Windsurfer channel crossing last Autumn.

I was telling you about my project of doing a return channel crossing by kitesurf.

There are now four of us and we are planning to do it late September or early October.

This project is in aid of the Children at Great Ormond Street Hospital, in the memory of Oliver Thomas John (son of one of the riders) who was treated there until, sadly, he died last July. Over 30,000 pounds have been raised so far and we have a target of 50,000
