Help

I am thinking of painting my 1 yearold galvanised trailer.

Now should it be BLUE to match the tubes?

Or should it be WHITE to match the Glassfibre??

Decisions Decisions !!

Painted the wheels blue on mine to match the tubes but wish I'd painted them white as were originally.
Looks dark now.

You should match it to whichever colour you had painted your chartplotter

Paint it Blue and paint the actual tyres white. You'll have to mock up a way of holding the brush onto the trailer so when it's moving it's re-painting the tyres in order to keep them white! Kind of like bearing savers...

Peter Kinda like you thinking about the keeping the white walls white, will buy a heat sensitive bracket that senses heat in the tyre and moves to paint it!! That MUST be safer !!

Wilk No no paint on the plotter, still trying to get the Snowpake off that I used to remove my track !!... Was thinking of painting the Microwave though... could I mount that on the "A" frame, leave the door open and use it at Forward Looking Radar (FLR) ??

No, it's got to be RAL2004.

Dear oh dear...............
Degalvanise your trailer and use it to charge your battery when you launch. That way you don't need to store your trailer afterwards, just pick the wheels out of the water and fit them to your next ungalvanised soluble trailer system (U.S.T.S.).
I believe Land Rover pioneered this technology with S.C.S. (Soluble Chassis System), so you'll need to make sure that you're not infringing any intellectual property laws.

I believe that's it's own coolant puddle it's sitting in, unless it's trapped water that's leaked out of the chassis legs.

I thought I was a bit eccentric but you boys take the biscuit, toasters, microwave I hadn't even thought of that just bought a Magma transom BBQ and realised it might melt the tubes I guess I will have to sell it now

I bought new white wheels for mine, and new tyres and wheel arches as the others had dirt up the sides and in the tread and mud splattered all under the arches I may paint the trailer orange to match the RIB but as it is a tender to me mother ship aka T/T (Tango Tango)) I think any more Tango and I will be seeing red

These are what new white wheels and mudguards look like, Oh my bearings were greasy and dirty so I changed them, what I didnt realise that when they arrived they had came with hubs and the suspension unit, so I just had it all fitted, (note to self, be careful when ordering on line, check pictures and codes, mind you I did wonder why the bearings were so much at the checkout ) anyway it would have cost more to send it all back and they looked nice and shiny, live and learn I say

A mate of mine in college painted the carpet and curtains in his bedroom. Not the brightest spark. But it still makes me smile whilst shaking my head a good twenty five years later.
