Helicopter photo shoot - solent

Hey ribbers,

I have a helicopter coming down on charter within the next couple of weeks - an Agusta 109 with floats and on a JAR ops 1 - before anyone starts trying to preach to me... blah blah blah..

Anyway if enough of you want an aerial shot of your boat / 's then im willing to liase in these places with the heli..

1. Ryde middle - osborne bay
2. Needles
3. Studland

If there were enough takers then i would get a rule 5 exemption and come down to 150ft with camera man to hang out of door and snap some good shots..

I would need firm commitments - but we would only be able to shoot our other job on a good day anyway so the wether would be good - however we might only get 3 days notice before coming down...

Let me know if anyone is interested - would be good to get circa 20-30 ribs between the 3 locations to make it worthwhile....

This is the kind of height i prefer......
kos photo - our heli :-)

Sounds like a great opportunity.

Can you give us an idea of costs?

Would it be a fixed cost per Rib or does it depend on numbers?

Thanks

Tony

Hi,

I'm off all next week. So would be up for this given a little notice.

Weather won't put me off.

Will their be any cost involved for the photo's ? And I take it seeing as you can afford a Chopper the camera you have must be good !

Ryde Middle would be my preferred location.

Regards Nick R.

This sounds like to good an opportunity to be passed up, I'm on the water for the next couple of weeks, but if possible it would be great to get Evolution into a decent photo position. (If Tim agrees of course!)

If and when more details on dates come through, and costs are within budget, count me in.

I had some aerial shots taken of my old boat last year.
Absolutely a once in a life time opportunity (if you like photo's of your boat, that is). Expensive, but worth it.

We would already have a camera man onboard - so i can shoot maybe 10 images per boat - our man uses canon eos with gyro stabilised kit - the bit i cant do is pass the cost of an extra hours flying + to the other customer - being realistic and honest i think i could do it for between £80-£100 per boat and that will obviously include your images on disk sent to you.

let me know what you thinks... pm me if your up for it..
